Comfort Inn Alleged Robber Arrested

Police say the man who robbed the front desk at a Comfort Inn has been caught.

A Bethlehem man was arrested Saturday afternoon after a robbery Friday at the Comfort Inn in the 25th Street Shopping Center, Palmer Township.

Eric Share of the 400 block of Keystone Avenue is jailed in Northampton County Prison, charged with:

  • Robbery
  • Theft by Unlawful Taking
  • Recklessly Endangering Another Person
  • Terroristic Threats
Police say Share, wearing a hooded sweatshirt, entered the hotel and walked to the front desk, where he demanded money from sales clerks while holding one arm under his shirt, indicating he had a weapon.

Clerks gave him money from the sales register.

Share, 26, was identified from having rented rooms at the Comfort Inn in the past, according to a press release from Palmer Township Police.
