Drug Charges Filed Against Man Nabbed on William Penn Highway

Written by Jack Tobias

Bethlehem Township police have made an arrest in an April drug case in which a city man was suspected of having 11 bags of heroin and three needles.

Court records say David E. Kolosky, 27, of 315 E. Garrison St., was arraigned Thursday on charges of possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

Kolosky is suspected of having the drugs on William Penn Highway at the Route 33 south ramp in Palmer Township on the morning of April 12, a Friday.

Kolosky’s file does not include a probable cause affidavit that normally lists details and evidence leading up to an arrest.

But the file does say that Kolosky drives a black 2001 Ford F150 pickup with Pennsylvania license plates.

A criminal complaint written by township Patrolman Daniel Barsnica was filed later April 12.

Kolosky was arraigned by District Judge Joseph Barner of Lower Nazareth Township and released on $5,000 unsecured bail.
