Easton Man Charged with Theft from Boscov's

Man allegedly stole $94 worth of clothing from Boscov's in the Palmer Park Mall.

An Easton man was jailed last Saturday after allegedly stealing clothes from the Palmer Park Mall Boscov's.

Daniel Mercano, 36, of 1010 Elm St., is charged with one count of retail theft.

According to court records, Mercano was caught Saturday afternoon trying to take $94 worth of young men's clothing from Boscov's.

He was arraigned before on-duty District Judge Richard Yetter and sent to Northampton County Prison in lieu of $5,000 bail.

Court papers indicate Mercano has been arrested before for retail theft.
