Fire Routs Family from Clairmont Avenue Home

A fire that broke out Saturday night at 55 Clairmont Ave. in Palmer Township displaced a family of five, officials said.

The home may have been struck by lightning, according to a report on lehighvalleylive.com.

The American Red Cross Greater Lehigh Valley Chapter said in a release that it assisted a family of five (two adults, three children) affected by the fire at the single home. The Red Cross provided lodging, food, infant formula and supplies.
