The Foks Township Police Department is continuing to investigate the cause of a one-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon that killed a 47-year-old man and his daughter.
Police are focusing on what role a pedestrian may have had in the accident, according to the Easton Express-Times.
Witnesses said that the vehicle struck a tree on Paxinosa Road after the driver swerved to avoid hitting a woman who was walking her dog. The story states the woman is the wife of former Forks Supervisor C. David Howell.
On Wednesday, the victims were identified as Charles C. and Juliana Eberharter, who lived in the 500 block of Paxinosa Road East, where the crash occurred.
