Forks Police Investigating Fatal Crash

Two people killed in Forks Township in one-vehicle accident Tuesday afternoon.

The Foks Township Police Department is continuing to investigate the cause of a one-vehicle crash Tuesday afternoon that killed a 47-year-old man and his daughter.

Police are focusing on what role a pedestrian may have had in the accident, according to the Easton Express-Times.

Witnesses said that the vehicle struck a tree on Paxinosa Road after the driver swerved to avoid hitting a woman who was walking her dog. The story states the woman is the wife of former Forks Supervisor C. David Howell.
