Forks Police Seek Help in Armed Robbery

Police: Mel's Doggie Stand robbed Tuesday by handgun-wielding man.

Armed robbery usually isn't on the list.

But Forks Township experienced one Tuesday and the police chief would like the public's help in solving the case.

Dorney, in an email over the weekend, said he had little information about the crime.

Police said a handgun-wielding man robbed Mel's Doggie Stand on Sullivan Trail and then fled on foot.

Police are asking anyone with information to contact the Forks Township Police Department at 610-759-2200 or 610-252-0377, ext. 136.
