Major Marijuana Bust in Forks Township

Palmer police issue search warrant that reveals large marijuana distribution operation at Forks Township home.

A Forks Township man is in custody Friday morning after Palmer Township police executed a search warrant that revealed a large marijuana distribution operation at his home.

James Francis Curtin, who was currently on state parole, was taken into custody without incident and charged by Palmer Township police with:

  • Possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance.
  • Possession of a controlled substance.
  • Possession of drug paraphernalia.

Palmer police, working with the Northampton County Drug Task Force, executed a narcotics-related search warrant at 2750 Chestnut Lane in Forks Township just after 6 a.m. Friday.

Results of the search revealed a large amount of marijuana, which was packaged separately and prepared for delivery.

The press release from Palmer police did not say how much marijuana was confiscated. Det. Jim Alercia said the marijuana has not been weighed yet.

Assisting with the search warrant was the Forks Township Police Department, the Easton Police Department Emergency Response Team and the Suburban EMS Regional Tactical Team.
