The single-engine plane that crashed into a Hanover Township, Lehigh County, cornfield Friday night -- about 1.5 miles from Lehigh Valley International Airport -- is registered to a Lower Nazareth Township man, according to multiple published reports.
Attempts by Patch to reach Constantine Yialamas of Lower Nazareth were not successful.
The Piper PA-28-140 fixed-wing, single-engine plane may have "slight damage," Charles Everett, executive director of LVIA, told The Morning Call.
The pilot and co-pilot, who have not been identified, were not injured, according to a WFMZ report.
The report added that in order for emergency responders to locate them, the pilots had to walk out of the cornfield and to the edge of Willowbrook Road.
The Federal Aviation Administration is investigating.
