The men were both wearing dark clothing, one tall and thin, the other short. Police had no physical descriptions other than that they were possibly black males.

The shooting came just two hours before the 8 p.m. lighting of Easton's Peace Candle in Centre Square.

WFMZ reported that friends of the victim said he is a man known as Dje, who does disc jockey shows at local clubs.

Numerous people posted messages on his Facebook page Friday night.

"You would be the last I would've expected this to happen to," one of them read.

Several people gathered on the sidewalk along St. John Street to watch.

"It's sickening," said a woman walking her dog. "You don't feel safe anymore."

Police say the suspects knew the victim in this case. City police are investigating along with the coroner and the Northampton County district attorney.
