Man Sold Heroin in Giant Parking Lot, Police Say

Ryan Dilts charged with selling drugs to police informant at supermarket lot.

Palmer Township police say an Easton man sold heroin to an informant in the parking lot of the 25th Street Giant last month.

Ryan Dilts, 22, of the 300 block of Williams Street, is charge with felony possession with the intent to deliver a controlled substance, and criminal use of a communication facility.

According to court records, Dilts arranged via text message to meet with the informant Sept. 3 at the supermarket parking lot.

Police say Dilts sold the informant $90 worth of heroin in white wax paper packets with the slogan "Pull the Plug."

A warrant was issued for Dilts' arrest, and he was arraigned Wednesday night before on-duty District Judge Daniel Corpora in Easton and sent to Northampton County Prison after failing to post $20,000 bail.
