More Roadwork for Forks

PennDOT plans one-day project for Richmond Road in Forks Township.

The Pennsylvania Department of Transportation has announced roadwork for Richmond Road starting Thursday in Forks Township.

PennDOT said work will be done on Richmond Road between Knox Avenue and by a PennDOT contractor.

The work, which will be restricted to daytime, involves a lane restriction with flagging for oil and chip work.

The work is scheduled from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is expected to be completed by the end of Thursday, PennDOT said.

Meanwhile, the agency also announced work for Keystone Street/Iron Street/Lehigh Drive between Freemansburg Avenue and the end of the expressway.

That daytime work by a PennDOT contractor also calls for a lane restriction with flagging for oil and chip work.

The work will begin Friday from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. and is expected to be completed by the end of the day, PennDOT stated.
