Another Sinkhole Poses Problem in Palmer

Palmer Township officials at Tuesday night's meeting hear about another sinkhole that has opened up.

Sinkholes in Palmer Township aren't a problem only on Northwood Avenue.

Public Safety Director Tom Adams told the Board of Supervisors at Tuesday night's meeting that another sinkhole opened up this week on Mine Lane Road.

Last week, for the third time in two months, another sinkhole opened on Northwood Avenue, closing the road for a day.

Adams did not go into much detail about the sinkhole on Mine Lane Road.

He did tell Patch.com before the meeting that the sinkholes keep coming back because of water main breaks.
