Palmer Man Threatens Ex-Wife at K-Mart
Jeffrey James told ex he was "two seconds away from killing" her, police say.
A man came to his estranged wife’s workplace– the on S. 25th Street – grabbed her by the collar and said he was "two seconds away from killing you," court records say.
Jeffrey James, 51, of 219 Berks St. was charged with terroristic threats, simple assault and harassment after the incident around 2:15pm Friday at the Kmart, 320 S. 25th St.,Wilson.
He was later found at the nearby Rudy’s Car Wash & Mart. His estranged wife was brought there and she identified him as the person involved in the Kmart incident, the records say.
James was arraigned later Friday by on-duty District Judge Douglas Schlegel of Wind Gap and committed to after failing to post $5,000 bail.
