Palmer Man Wanted in New Jersey is Caught

A Palmer Township man, who is also a fugitive wanted in Atlantic County, New Jersey for aggravated assault with a weapon, was caught in Tatamy March 2, according to police.

A man driving a vehicle without a front bumper was stopped Friday night in Tatamy, where police discovered he is wanted in Atlantic County, N.J., on a charge of aggravated assault with a weapon.

Police pulled over Connor Alexander Griffin, 19, of 46 Country Side Court, at 7:35pm at 164 Bushkill St. in Tatamy. They found a warrant was issued Jan. 13 for an incident in Mullica Township, which is between Hammonton and Egg Harbor City in northwest Atlantic County – about 25 miles from Atlantic City.

Griffin, who is considered a fugitive from justice, was arraigned early Saturday by on-duty District Judge Todd Strohe of Bangor. Bail was denied. A hearing in Northampton County Court, possibly about extradition to New Jersey, was scheduled for Monday (March 5).

The above information was supplied by District Judge Todd Strohe's office. Where arrests or charges are mentioned, it does not indicate a conviction.
