Palmer Police Add Part-Time Officer

Michael Vernotica has joined the Palmer Township police department.

The Palmer Township Police Department has beefed up its force.

Police Chief Larry Palmer announced that Michael Vernotica has joined the police department as a part-time officer.

Vernotica fills the slot held by Officer Jeremiah Santo, who was promoted to a full-time officer.

The new officer was sworn in by Supervisors Chairman Dave Colver at the supervisors meeting last week.

The ceremony took place before Vernotica's parents. He was then congratulated by the supervisors and other township officials.
