Police Investigate Pedestrian Accident

21-year-old female transported to St. Luke's Hospital

Colonial Regional Police continue to investigate an accident involving a pedestrian Saturday night along Easton-Nazareth Highway (Route 248).

According to police, a black sedan driving westbound struck a pedestrian attempting to cross the road in the 3700 block. The accident occurred around 9:30pm. The victim, whose name has not been disclosed, has been described as a 21-year-old female from the area. She was transported to St. Luke’s Hospital-Fountain Hill with unspecified injuries. Police believe she may have been attempting to get to a local diner or shopping center.

The driver of the sedan, whose name was not released, is described as a 26-year-old male from Palmer Township. A third person, who was the passenger in the sedan, is described as a 21-year-old female from out of town. Neither the driver nor the passenger was reported injured.
