Police Name Suspect in Easton Stabbing

Carl Willbright faces assault charges for stabbing a woman in Champ's Corner parking lot.

Easton police say they've identified the man who stabbed a 35-year-old woman early Sunday in the city's downtown.

Carl Willbright Jr., also known as "City," is facing charges of aggravated assault, simple assault, conspiracy to commit aggravted assault and terroristic threats.

Police say Willbright might have ties to the Bloods gang in New York City. He is the driver of the gray Nissan Altima police have been seeking since the day of the stabbing. He is considered armed and dangerous.

According to police, the woman was stabbed just after 2 a.m. in the parking lot of Champ's Corner, a restaurant owned by former heavyweight boxing champ Larry Holmes.

She was hospitalized with her injuries.

Police said Tuesday they were also looking for two women who were involved with the stabbing.

Anyone who knows Willbright's whereabouts is asked to call 911.
