Police Seek Two Women in Champ's Corner Stabbing

35-year-old woman stabbed Sunday night in parking lot of Larry Holmes' restaurant.

Easton police are looking for two women they say are connected to the stabbing of another woman early Sunday in the parking lot of Champ's Corner restaurant.

Both women were black and wore all black clothing, including hooded sweatshirts with the hoods pulled up, according to the Express-Times.

The attack sent the 35-year-old woman to the hospital.

Police said the stabbing was not a random act. Investigators said they are looking for a gray Nissan Altima that was spotted near the scene of the stabbing to see if there is any connection.

The restaurant is owned by former heavyweight boxing champion Larry Holmes.

In 2006, a man was killed in the parking lot of the restaurant. Marcellus Macduffie, 29, was shot to death after celebrating his birthday. A jury convicted another Easton man, Andrew Paschal, of his murder in 2007.
