Police charge Palmer resident with beating up boyfriend
A Palmer Township woman allegedly shoved, hit and scratched her ex-boyfriend at the Internet Café and Deli in Nazareth at about 5:30 p.m. April 7, according to Nazareth Police.
Police say Keri Hoy, 22, of 3202 Allen St., attacked Jason McKenna at the 6 S. Broad St. business after asking McKenna for money for their child.
Hoy also caused about $50 worth of damage to a stainless steel garbage can inside the business, according to police.

Police charged Hoy with simple assault, harassment, domestic violence and criminal mischief, according to court records.
A Forks Township woman was cited for retail theft on April 1 after loss prevention staff at the Wal-Mart in Lower Nazareth Township allegedly observed her concealing merchandise in a bag, according to reports.

Colonial Regional Police say Gayle Groff, 46, of Marigold Drive, allegedly passed all points of sale without paying for $131.81 worth of candy and toiletry items.
Groff was issued a non-traffic citation for retail theft and released.
