UPDATE" 'Rolling' Route 33 Work Delayed to Thursday

Route 33 commuters should expect slow-moving vehicles, possible lane restrictions and rolling traffic stoppages, according to PennDOT. Work will now begin Thursday.

Work on Route 33 is being delayed until Thursday, PennDOT says.

Work was originally scheduled for Wednesday, but due to equipment issues has been canceled and re-scheduled for Thursday, a PennDOT release states.

Route 33 commuters should expect slow-moving vehicles and possible lane restrictions, according to PennDOT.

Crews from PPL Electric Utilities will be working from 9 a.m. to 2 p.m. between the Route 512 (Wind Gap) and Belfast exits in Bushkill and Plainfield townships.

There may also be rolling traffic stoppages, PennDOT says.
