Two Injured in Forks Township Crash

Two vehicles involved in Forks Township crash along Bushkill Drive. Two taken to hospital with injuries.

Two people were injured in a crash late Monday afternoon along Bushkill Drive, authorities said.

The Forks Township police and fire departments along with Suburban EMS responded to the crash at the corner of Bushkill Drive and Northwood Avenue near Frick Transfer.

An alert stated that there was an entrapment in one of the vehicles -- a red minivan -- and Forks Fire Chief Charles Chapman said two people were being transported to the hospital with Class 2 injuries.

The extent of the injuries was unknown, as was the cause of the accident.

Part of Bushkill Drive was closed as crews cleaned up the accident and motorists were diverted onto the Northwood Avenue bridge over Bushkill Creek and into Palmer Township.
