Sisters Erin and Bethany Donst facing DUI charges after traffic stop in Easton.

Easton police say a city woman who came to pick up her sister following a DUI stop was herself driving under the influence.

Sisters Erin Donst, 32 and Bethany Donst, 30, will be issued summons for DUI, police said Tuesday.

According to police, Bethany was stopped Friday evening for failing to stop at a red light at Larry Holmes Drive and Northampton Street.

Officer Corey Lollis determined Donst, of Belvidere, NJ was driving under the influence, and placed her under arrest, police said.

Bethany Donst called her sister Erin to pick up her car. Police say Erin Donst arrived at the scene also driving while under the influence.

Both sisters were taken to the county DUI center for processing.
