Woman Started Mineral Springs Hotel Fire, Police Say

Fallonn Craig, 31, charged with arson in fire that wiped out Mineral Springs Hotel.

A Forks Township woman who lived at the Mineral Springs Hotel has been charged with starting the fire that destroyed the hotel, according to published reports.

Fallonn Craig allegedly told police she lit the fire following a fight with her boyfriend, the Express-Times reported.

Court records show Craig, 31, was charged Thursday with arson, causing a catastrophe, simple assault, reckless endangerment and 20 counts of criminal mischief.

According to the Morning Call, Craig suffered burns during the fire and was arraigned from her hospital bed at Lehigh Valley Hospital.

The fire at the Route 611 building injured four people and forced seven families from their homes.
