Controversial Cottage in Woods Fate Focus of Forks Meeting

The Cottage in the Woods will be addressed at Thursday's Forks Township Board of Supervisors meeting.

The controversial Cottage in the Woods' future will once again be the topic of conversation at the Forks Township Board of Supervisors meeting Thursday night.

At a recent meeting, Supervisor Bob Egolf suggested razing the Zucksville Road structure when it was revealed that costs to refurbish it could exceed $50,000.

The Forks Area Art Society issued an email statement this past week saying that it strongly supports the Cottage's restoration and developing it for use as an arts, cultural and historic facility for the residents of Forks Township and surrounding communities.

The meeting is at the Forks Township Municipal Building and begins at 7pm.

The Arts Society is asking its membership to come out and support the Cottage.
