Curbside Yard Waste Pickup Planned in Palmer

Palmer Township has scheduled a special residential yard waste recycling curbside pickup for April 22-26.

If you've got leaves, branches, twigs, bushes and garden clippings, you're in luck.

Palmer Township has scheduled a special residential curbside yard waste recycling pickup for between April 22-26.

All yard waste can be placed at pickup. The waste will be recycled and composted instead of landfilled, a release on the township's website states.

Township officials urge residents to make every attempt to place their yard waste out at curbside during the week.

Materials should be placed in brown paper bags or bundles no larger than 3' X 3' X 3'. You can place unlimited amounts as well, just no grass clippings or stumps.
