Forum for U.S. Senate Primary Candidates

The Lehigh Valley Tea Party will host a forum for all candidates running for the United States Senate from Pennsylvania.

The forum will be held on Thursday, April 5, 2012, at the Charles Chrin Community Center in Palmer Township from 6:30 pm to 8:30 pm.

The format will be divided into three parts.

  • First, each candidate will be given an opportunity to introduce himself to the audience. 
  • Next, there will be a Question/Answer period with questions from a tea party moderator.
  • Then there will be a Question/Answer period with questions from the audience.
  • Finally, if time permits, each candidate will be given a short time for a closing statement.


All primary election candidates running for the U.S. senate seat have been invited to participate.

  • To date, Sam Rohrer, Marc Scaringi, Joe Vodvarka and Steve Welch have accepted our invitation and will attend.
  • The other candidates - Bob Casey, David Christian and Tom Smith - responded to our invitation and are trying to work the event into their schedules.

The winner of the GOP primary will run against incumbent Democrat Bob Casey in November.
