Forks Cancels Supervisors Meeting

Forks Board of Supervisors won't meet July 5 due to lack of a quorum from Fourth of July holiday plans. Next meeting will be July 19.

Township officials announced Wednesday that the board's July 5 meeting is being canceled due to a lack of a quorum, an email from township manager stated.

"Due to vacations by supervisors and staff and since no significant agenda items have been identified at this time, the meeting has been canceled," Supervisors Chairman Erik Chuss said.

Supervisors John O'Neil and Bob Egolf had already planned vacations.

Chuss had stated at Thursday's meeting that he could make it, but Supervisors David Billings and Dan Martyak weren't so sure about their schedules.

The next supervisors meeting will take place on July 19.
