Forks Unveils Parks and Recreation Website

The website for the Forks Township Recreation Parks and Recreation Department is officially up and running.

The site, which was launched Saturday, can be found at www.forkstownship.org/recreation or by going to the municipal website at www.forkstownship.org

The site features news and information on adult, youth, and senior programs; park and trail information; community center information; events and ticket sales information; and forms and documents for programs.

In February, parks and recreation director Rachel Sulzbach was given the go-ahead by township Supervisors to create the 25-page site. At that time, Sulzbach said the site would cost $5,975, including a content management system to make changes directly to the website. Officials also said there is a $1,500 built-in discount since the municipality already uses the web design company, New Arrival Studios, Bethlehem.
