Meet the Candidate

Ann-Marie Panella is running uncontested in the upcoming Palmer Township primary election.

Ann-Marie Panella, incumbent Democratic candidate for Palmer Township supervisor, will run uncontested in the May 17 primary for the one available six-year term.

She announced her candidacy earlier this year saying in a release, "I am proud to be a resident of Palmer and as I have said in the past, 'Palmer is a great place to live, work and play.' "

Panella said that during her tenure, the board has been able to keep the tax rate steady while tightening expenses. She is also an advocate for senior citizens and the children.

Panella is a liaison to the Shade Tree Commission, alternate member to the Two Rivers Council of Government, member of the Kiwanis Club of Palmer, and has served as former Board of Directors – CACLV, Third Street Alliance for Women and Children.
