Moskaitis Seeks Re-Election to School Board

Easton Area School Board member appointed in 2011 says there's more work to be done.

Saying there's more work to be done, Robert Moskaitis announced Tuesday night that he's seeking another term on the Easton Area School Board.

"There's a lot of serious problems in this district," Moskaitis told reporters following Tuesday's board meeting. "I think we need people of a business mind."

Moskaitis has served on the board since 2011, when he was appointed to fill the seat vacated by former board member Jennifer Holzberger.

At the time, he was already the Democratic candidate for the district's Region Three.

He has been one of the board's more outspoken members, and its main advocate for increasing math and science education at Easton Area High School.

Moskaitis said he plans to try to cross-file so he appears on the Democratic and Republican ballots in the May primary.
