Palmer Fills Open Recreation Board Seats

Dan McKinney and Rick Buelette are appointed.

After six months, the Palmer Township Board of Supervisors has filled the two remaining vacancies on the township Recreation Board.

Dan McKinney and Rick Buelette were unanimously appointed on Monday to fill the vacancies on the seven-seat board. Buelette is a township resident and McKinney is director of the Charles Chrin Community Center.

According to Supervisor David Colver, the seats were vacated at the end of 2010 after the two former board members decided not to vie for reappointment.
