Palmer Unveils New Pavilion

Pavilion constructed between Charles Chrin Community Center and new Miracle League Field

Palmer Township officials and members of the Business, Industrial and Professional Association of Palmer Township were on hand yesterday to dedicate the new pavilion constructed on the Charles Chrin Community Center property.

The pavilion's $25,000 cost was covered by a donation from two golf outings held by the BIP of Palmer over a two-year period. The township public works department also helped with the excavation and construction of the structure. The wooden pavilion also features two large grills.

The BIP also awarded $500 scholarships to five Palmer Township seniors. The students will receive the scholarship funds after they complete their  first semester of college.
