EAHS Marching Band Tries to Win Big in Subway's $50K High School Giveaway

Subway Restaurants is giving away $50,000 and the Easton Area High School Marching Band is hoping to cash in on the prize.

Students from the school are looking to receive the most votes on the Subway High School Heroes II contest's Facebook page in order to win either the $20,000 cash grand prize award or be the recipeient of the three, $10,000 runner-up cash prizes. The contest runs from now until Nov. 13.

The contest is open to the high school club or team that displays the most spirited group in sports, scholastics, arts or community service.

EAHS Marching Band is asking that anyone over the age of 13 log onto Facebook and vote for the school. Simply scroll down or search for the Easton Area High School Marching Band and vote. The contest will allow for one vote per day per person.

As of today, the band has received 530 votes since the contest opening on Oct. 17. Anyone who votes is also eligible to win a $10 Subway giftcard.
