Brainstorm Forum: Local Effects of Global Climate Change

Brainstorm Forums include presentations by professional scientists and group discussions. The first Brainstorm Forum will focus on "Local Effects of Global Climate Change," and will begin with an informative presentation by Dork Sahagian, Ph.D., a Professor of Earth and Environmental Sciences atLehigh University, Bethlehem, Pa. That presentation will be followed by small-group discussions of questions about the local effects of global climate change.Ideas and suggestions from these discussions will be compiled into a report thatwill be sent to the Lehigh Valley Planning Commission and the cities of Allentown, Bethlehem, and Easton. The report also will be made available publicly on the web.
