Immersion Days - Hugh Moore Park

Monday, May 02, 2011 to Friday, May 06, 2011 Immersion Days - Hugh Moore Park Immersion days are day-long programs that will bring history, science, and technology to life for children in grades 3-12. These programs inform learners of all ages about the people, processes, and products that forged the industrial revolution in eastern Pennsylvania. The revolution transformed the region from an agricultural economy to a leader in the industrial and transportation revolution. During immersion days, students participate in activities at four main stations: iron making, archaeology, soil testing, and canal life. Check website for registration information.
