Palmer Kiwanis Awards 8 Scholarships

The Palmer Township Kiwanis Club gave out eight $1,000 scholarships this past year.

The Palmer Township Kiwanis Club and Foundation presented eight $1,000 scholarships to students this past year.

According to the recent Palmer Township community newsletter, all students who received the scholarships were members of the Key Club in their respective high schools.

The members of the Palmer Kiwanis Club congratulate the students for their past achievements and wish them luck in their future.

The awards went to:

  • Cody Mock -- son of Gidget Mock. Student at Career Institute of Technology and Easton Area High School where he majored in masonry.
  • RoseMary Repsher -- daughter of Richard and Robin Repsher. Graduate of Career Institute of Technology and Easton Area High School who is attending East Stroudsberg University, majoring in occupational child care.
  • Patricia Klein -- Daughter of Barbara Klein-Moyer. Graduate of Easton Area High School who is attending St. Francis University, majoring in marketing.
  • Courtney Schaffer -- Daughter of Barry and Dana Schaffer. Graduate of Easton Area High School who is attending King's College, majoring in physician's assistant.
  • Sarah Ferguson -- Daughter of Stuart and Catherine Ferguson. Graduate of Notre Dame High School who is attending St. Joseph's University, majoring in criminal justice or sociology.
  • Colleen Kelly -- Daughter of John and Kathy Kelly. Graduate of Notre Dame High School who will be attending the University of Scranton, majoring in occupational therapy.
  • Andrea Davis -- Daughter of Wayne and Brenda Davis. Graduate of Wilson Area High School who is attending California University of PA, majoring in communications.
  • Brandon Mitchell -- Son of Bryan and Sandy Mitchell. Graduate of Wilson Area High School who is attending the University of Pittsburgh, majoring in biology.
