Sinkhole Opens Up at EAHS Field
This is not the first time that a sinkhole has opened up at the field.
A sinkhole has opened up at the turf field, the Express Times reported.
According to the report, the sinkhole opened up on northern end of the track, near where the track meets the turf shortly after. The same area has had previous problems in the past. The track remains open for use.
An actual size of the along with a cost estimate has yet to be determined. The Easton Area School Board will vote next Thursday on seeking work proposals to repair the sinkhole. Cost estimates and a time frame for the work will not be available until then, the report said.
