Tell Us: Who Should Lead Easton Area's Schools?

The Easton Area School Board is still searching for a new superintendent. What qualities do you think that person needs?

Only a handful of people showed up last week for Easton Area School Board member Frank Pintabone's constituent meeting.

And most of the time centered around Pintabone and Easton resident Curt Ehly debating the sale of the old Cottingham School.

But there was one interesting piece of news that came out of the meeting: When discussing the search for a new superintendent, Pintabone said that no one from the school district was in the running for the job.

The school district wants to have a new superintendent hired by April 20 to replace Susan McGinley. The board voted last year not to renew her contract.
