Forks Area Art Society June Event
The public is invited to the June 2012 Forks Area Art Society event which is featuring William Marley who will be presenting his award-winning one act play "Black Jesus".
Black Jesus involves an outsider artist from Northern Mississippi who is discovered and exploited by a white art dealer from New Orleans.
Mr. Marley has developed what he calls "paddle people". These "paddle people" are held up to the audience on paddles as each character's dialogue is read, thus identifying
the character speaking.

Mr. Marley is a longtime playwright, author, and visual artist. He is a graduate from the Rhode Island School of Design.
