Lafayette Advances in Patriot League Tournament [Video]

Lafayette knocks off Holy Cross and will play Lehigh University in semifinals Saturday in Patriot League Tournament.

The Lafayette Leopards are moving on.

The Lafayette College mens basketball team knocked off Holy Cross Wednesday night, 77-54, in the Patriot League quarterfinals to advance to the next round.

The team was sparked by star guard Tony Johnson, who scored 19 points.

The No. 2 seeded Leopards will play No. 3 Lehigh University at 2 p.m. Saturday in the Kirby Sports Center in College Hill in a semifinals matchup.

The tournament winner gets an automatic bid in the NCAA College Basketball Tournament.
