Miracle Leage Field Dedicated

New Miracle League Field open for baseball after dedication ceremony Sunday in Palmer Township.

The Miracle League Field in Palmer Township is now a reality.

Before hundreds of people Sunday afternoon, dignitaries gave speeches and praise to Lehigh Valley's newest Field of Dreams.

A ceremony -- featuring free hot dogs, cupcakes and water -- took place at noon at the Charles Chrin Community Center.

Palmer Township supervisors Dave Colver and Bob Lammi were among those recognized for bringing the project to fruition.

Boy Scout Troop 362 of Bethlehem Township raised the flag while Hannah McGovern, a former Miracle League player from Emmaus, sang the national anthem.
