Palmer Community Days Kicks Off Wednesday

Palmer Township celebrates its annual festival this week.

Organizer Diane Grube always frets about the weather this time of the year.

After all, it's Palmer Community Days.

The township's annual event kicks off Wednesday night with Movies in the Park at Fairview Park. The movie, "Wreck it Ralph," starts at dusk and free popcorn and water will be provided by the Charles Chrin Community Center.

Thursday is when the festivities really begin.

Grube has planned the event, which takes place from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m., as Family Night.

It will be $10 for rides all night and there will be entertainment provided by Crazy Heart, from 7 p.m. to 10 p.m. The band is sponsored by N.J Puglise.

The Dance Company of CCCC will present a preview of "Dream Believe Dance" from 6 p.m. to 6:20 p.m.

A Zumba Craze takes place between 6:20 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Palmer Community Days is scheduled at Fairview Park from Wednesday through Sunday.

Please visit this site over the next few days for Friday, Saturday and Sunday schedule of events.
