Summer Fun Still Found in Forks
Forks Township offers free movies and concerts throughout August.
The Sounds of Summer are still sailing through the evening breeze in Forks Township.
Forks Township will hold two more summer concerts at the amphitheater at Community Park on Wednesdays 6:30 PM - 9:00 PM Rain Dates: Thursday following the show date.
- Aug. 14 - Truth and Soul, Cover Band
- Aug. 21 - Crazy Hearts, Country
Meanwhile, the Movies in the Park series is also continuing.
The movies show Saturday evenings beginning at dusk at community park.
One will show Saturday. That's "The Odd Life of Timothy Green."
The final movie in the series will be shown Aug. 24. It's "42," the baseball movie about pioneer Jackie Robinson.
