What's Open/Closed for Memorial Day
Palmer Park Mall and stores have holiday hours; banks and post offices closed for Memorial Day.
If you want to go shopping, get suntan lotion for the pool or grab some grub for a barbecue, some places in Forks and Palmer townships will be open on Memorial Day Monday.
But if you want to mail a letter, cash a check or take out the trash, you're going to have to wait a day until Tuesday.
Monday's Memorial Day holiday kicks off the unofficial start of summer, which children will celebrate since schools are closed.
