Red Rovers, Leopards Football Highlight Weekend

Are you ready for some football?

While the National Football League kicks off its season Thursday night before a full slate of games Sunday, the area's high school and college football teams are in action as well.

• After beating Pennsbury last week to open the season, the Easton High School Red Rovers take on Parkland High School in an away game at 7 p.m. Friday. See the team's schedule for this year.

• Lafayette College kicks off its season at home on College Hill Saturday night. The Leopards play Sacred Heart at 6 p.m. There's a block party and its Student Appreciate Night. See here for ticket information.

• Are you a fan of old school Radiohead? The kids from the School of Rock will be covering The Bends and OK Computer Friday and Saturday at Rivals. Both shows start at 7:30 p.m.

• The Easton and Nazareth farmers markets are both open until 1 p.m. Saturday.

• The Sigal Museum holds an opening reception for "The Legacy Exhibit: The Story of the Holocaust" Sunday from noon to 4 p.m.
