Bon-Ton Shows Slight Sales Growth for 2012

Bon-Ton, which has store in Palmer Park Mall, released fourth quarter and 2012 fiscal results. And both reports were positive for the retail chain.

One retailer in the Palmer Park Mall is smiling a little more these days. The Bon-Ton Stores Inc.—which operates a store in the Palmer Park Mall—has reported operating results for the fourth quarter and fiscal 2012 ended Feb. And the good news is that fourth quarter sales inched up, pushing annual sales for 2012 up a little too. Bon-Ton store sales increased 1.9 percent for third quarter 2012.

The Bon-Ton Stores Inc. has announced its third-quarter results of fiscal 2012, ending Oct. 27, 2012. Bon-Ton has a store in the Palmer Park Mall. Bon-Ton November Sales Rebound from Hurricane Sandy.

Bon-Ton reports November sales basically even going into holiday shopping season.

The Bon-Ton Stores has announced comparable store sales in the four weeks ended Nov. 24 decreased 0.1 percent. Total sales decreased 0.8 percent to $301.3 million in the current year compared with $303.6 million in the prior year period. Bon-Ton has a store in the Palmer Park Mall. Year-to-date comparable store sales increased 0.2 percent. Year-to-date total sales were slightly above last year at $2,205.7 million, compared with $2,205.1 million in the same period last year. Bon-Ton October Sales Increase

The Bon-Ton Stores Inc. reported a 3.7 percent sales increase for October.

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. announced comparable store sales in the four weeks ended Oct. 27 increased 3.7 percent. Total sales increased 3.7% to $199.1 million in the current year compared with $192.0 million in the prior time period for Bon-Ton, which has a location in the Palmer Park Mall in Palmer Township. For the third quarter of fiscal 2012, comparable stores sales increased 1.9%. Total sales for the thirteen weeks ended October 27, 2012 increased 1.9% to $668.7 million compared with $656.1 million for the prior year period. Year-to-date comparable store sales increased 0.3%. Bon-Ton September Sales Up Slightly

Bon-Ton sales increase 0.6 percent for September.

The Bon-Ton Stores Inc. has announced comparable store sales in the five weeks ended Sept. 29 increased 0.6%. Total sales increased 0.7% to $288.9 million in the current year compared with $286.9 million in the prior year period. Bon-Ton has a store in the Palmer Park Mall. Year-to-date comparable store sales decreased 0.1%. Year-to-date total sales decreased 0.2% to $1.705 billion compared with $1.709 billion in the same period last year. Company says sales at stores up slightly for first two quarters of the year.

The Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. has announced results for the second quarter of fiscal 2012, ended July 28. The Bon-Ton has a store in the Palmer Park Mall. For the second quarter of fiscal 2012, comparable stores sales increased 0.1%. Total sales for the thirteen weeks ended July 28, 2012 decreased 0.1% to $594.9 million compared with $595.5 million for the prior year period. Other income in the second quarter of fiscal 2012 was $12.4 million, compared with $13.8 million in the second quarter of fiscal 2011. Bon-Ton Sales Steady for July

Bon-Ton announces that sales figures for July were even from the same period a year ago.

July sales for The Bon-Ton Stores were basically no different than the same time a year ago, company officials announced Thursday. Bon-Ton Stores, Inc. -- which operates a store in Palmer Park Mall -- stated that comparable store sales in the four weeks ended July 28 were even with last year. Total sales decreased 0.1 percent to $173.4 million in the current year compared with $173.6 million in the prior year period.
