Few Changes for Forks Community Days

Brian Lokitis, who organizes Forks Community Days, plans a few tweaks for next year's event.

The recent Forks Township Community Days has been praised over the past month by township supervisors and business officials for its success. Now comes word from its organizer. Brian Lokitis, who oversees the planning for the annual event, said turnout for September's two-day festival was "by far the best ever." Lokitis, who recently held a wrap-up meeting about the event, said he was very pleased. "It went off really well," he said. "We had great success." Forks Business Roundtables May Continue

Forks Township elected and appointed Officials have Restricted and Bullied Business Owners for decades. BCAF was not formed to help the independent Business’s, but as an extension of the Board of Supervisors to provide corporate …   more ›

Changing of Guard for Forks Organization

New president for the Business and Commerce Association of Forks Township. Change was effective July 1.

There's been a changing of the guard at the Business and Commerce Association of Forks Township. Brian Lokitis, who plans the township's annual Community Days celebration, recently informed the Forks Township Board of Supervisors that he would be stepping down as BCAF president, effective July 1. While Lokitis said he would remain on the BCAF board of directors, he stated that Ron Roth -- executive director of the Career Institute of Technology -- would replace him as president. "Brian did a fantastic job of partnering with our township to create and grow BCAF," township supervisor David Billings said. "I am hoping that BCAF and Forks Township continue to grow the relationship with our business community, while taking into account diverse …
