Palmer Township police say Haley Krauss is fine and that no charges are forthcoming in the case.
A Palmer Township family is feeling a great deal of relief now that their daughter, missing since last Thursday, has returned home safely. The Palmer Police Department said that Haley Krauss, 15, had run away from home and was located in Leola, Lancaster County. Krauss was found Wednesday afternoon, Det. Sgt. Timothy Ruoff said. Ruoff said police heard from Krauss' mother, who had received a Facebook message from a friend who recognized Krauss. According to police, Krauss was picked up and stayed in Leola with a friend. Police spoke with her about coming home and she was reunited with her mother. Police said Krauss was fine and that no charges will be filed. The investigation has been closed. Hayley Krauss, 15, of Palmer Township, missing since Thursday afternoon, is now home safely, Palmer police are reporting.
The Palmer Police Department has reported on its Facebook page that the missing 15-year-old township girl is now back home safe. Police did not offer any details about her whereabouts or how she returned home. PREVIOUSLY REPORTED: The family of a 15-year-old Palmer Township girl missing since Thursday afternoon is offering a reward. Kevin Arnold, father of Hayley Krauss, said the family is offering a $2,500 reward for her safe return, according to the Easton Express-Times. The Palmer Township Police Department is seeking the public's help in finding a missing 15-year-old girl who was last seen getting off a school bus Thursday afternoon. Palmer Township police issued a Missing Juvenile Report on the whereabouts of Hayley Krauss. If you have any information, please contact the Palmer Township Police Department at (610) 759-2200. WFMZ is reporting that Krauss was last seen coming off her school bus Thursday afternoon, her father said. Her bus stops on Corriere Road in Palmer Township and her home isn't far from the stop. Krauss has been entered into the Missing Persons database, Palmer Township police said.
