Five Things, or so, To Look Out For This Week

Spring Break for district students, car washes and Easter Egg Hunts

Here’s a list of five, or so, things to look out for this week in Palmer and Forks townships:

1.     The Palmer Township Recreation Board will meet at 7:30pm Tuesday in the meeting room of the Palmer Memorial Library, located at 1 Weller Place, Palmer Township.

2.     Paxinosa Elementary School will host “Grandparents Day” on Tuesday. Grandparents of AM Kindergarten and grades 1 and 2 will be able to sit in on classes from 9:30am to 11am. Grandparents of PM Kindergarten and grades 3 and 4 will be allowed to sit in on classes from 11:30am to 3pm. For more information contact the Paxinosa PTA at 610-250-2551.

3.     Easton Area School District students will have an early dismissal on Wednesday to start the 2011 Spring Break. Check with the local school schedules for dismissal times. 

4.     The Forks Township Board of Supervisors will meet Thursday at 7:30pm at the municipal building located at 1606 Sullivan Trail, Forks Township.

5.     Palmer Elementary School, located at 3050 Green Pond Road, Palmer Township, will host the Palmer Township Annual Easter Egg Hunt 10am Friday. The event will be held on the school grounds. In the case of rain, the event will be relocated to the Charles Chrin Community Center located at 4100 Green Pond Road, Palmer Township.

6.     The Easton Area High School Instrumental students will host a “FREE” car wash from 9am to 1pm Saturday. The event will be held in the parking lot of the high school located at 2601 William Penn Highway, Palmer Township.
