In 2011, the crime rate rose in Forks Township by 2.97 percent, but the arrest rate improved by 154 percent.

In many ways, 2011 was the best of times for Forks Police. Though the crime rate rose by 2.97 percent in the township, the department’s apprehension of suspected criminals went up by 154 percent.

Dorney presented his 2011 end-of-year report (attached) to Forks supervisors this month.
